LMS Summer School 2023: Accommodation
Student Lodgings
All students attending this summer school who require accommodation have accommodation booked. There are two different routes with students split roughly in half and placed randomly (facilities in both routes are the same):
Group one will be housed in The Jonas Hotel (Website) for the duration of your stay (16th to 28th.)
Group two will be placed in our undergraduate student accommodation from 16th-19th then move to The Jonas Hotel (3 minute walk) from the 19th to the end of the school (28th.) On the 19th, students should drop their luggage at Jonas Hotel in the morning before setting off to the day's activities. A small event room has been booked at Jonas to leave your bags in for the day until you return on the evening to check in to your room for the remainder of your time at the Summer School.

All students will be emailed before arrival to make clear which group each person is in. This will also be verified upon registration. If you would like to double check your accommodation details, please contact the organisers who will respond quickly.

The the accommodation area can be seen in the lower left, highlighted as a circle. The School can be seen in the upper right, highlighted by a square. Google Maps indicates a 30 minute walk between the locations.

Possibly Useful Information
Washing Machines: Jonas Hotel does have a laundry facility inside the building. The hotel is not in charge of it, however all that is required is the downloading of the app onto any mobile device (then follow the instructions.)
You do not need to bring bedding with you. The usual bedding will be provided (like a normal hotel) in your room.
Invited Speakers Lodgings
All invited speakers (who are not based in Sheffield) will have spoken with the organisers about their required accommodation dates. If you have requested lodgings for a period of time, you will be housed in The Rutland Hotel (Website), (seen below on the left.) A map to the School can be seen below, on the right.

All invited speakers who have requested accommodation will stay in the Rutland Hotel. Your rooms have been booked.
